PowerCheck is a Swiss energy system model with coupled electricity, hydrogen and district heat sectors. Explicit storage modelling with state-of-charge dynamics is included. The model is designed for system-level analysis, long-term planning, and scenario comparison. It combines high-resolution multi-year simulation with capacity and storage control optimisation using a rolling-horizon Model Predictive Control (MPC) approach.
